Charlotte Perkins is from East Cleveland where she went on to obtain her college degree in Criminal Justice at Kent State University. Candidate Perkins has always been and always will be an advocate for her community. Candidate Perkins served on the Cleveland police department for over 25 years and remains involved in her community to this very day. Not only residing in Ward 7, her business is within the community as well. Charlotte serves on many boards and organizations, a few include St. Aloysious President of the Pastoral Council, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. A member of the National Council of Negro Women; and the Financial Secretary for Top Ladies of Distinction, Greater Cleveland Chapter. Charlotte has raised her son in Ward 7 and is proud to serve Cleveland and Ward 7 through her civic and community leadership. These experiences as a black woman, a mother, a former detective, entrepreneur, and resident will help her serve as the most qualified candidate to represent all of Ward 7.
